My work computer (XP Proffessional) will not acknowledge the "Read Out Loud"
function in Adobe Acrobat 6.0. My home computer (XP Home) works fine on the
function. Does anybody know of any settings that I could adjust to turn on
the feature? Thanks.

Hi

If you mean Adobe Reader, there is a new version available - try that:

Your computer at work may be a strictly business desktop
that doesn't support the function in the hardware or perhaps
it just is not setup to read text.

But the read function works just fine on my XP Pro SP2 with
Adobe Reader 6 and now 7 installed.

Check with your system administrator. He has probably set a group policy
and can explain to you why.
