Many times, in almost all forums when folks ask for help when reporting problems(o/s, browser, malware, etc.), replies recommend or ask if Windows is updated - inevitably turning the questioner and others into another 'seeker' The term 'seeker' while a relatively recent term the practice of feeding feature updates via 'Check for updates' isn't recent. i.e. folks were/became seekers before the term was ever introduced. ...winston msft mvp 2007-2018 |
