Virus Protection Security Ballong Popup Madness
No matter what steps I take the security balloon alerting me that "Your
computer might be at risk" "Your virus Protection status is unknown" "Click this balloon to fix the problem" continues to popup even after I choose to monitor it myself checkbox. After I reboot the PC, the same balloon pops up and I'll have to go back in and re-check the box to not recommend an action and tell window that I'll monitor it myself. I've even unchecked the Virus Protection box under the right window pane link, "Change the way security center alerts me." Still after a reboot, the balloon reappears. .. I'm running Windows XP Home edition with Zonealarm Pro 5.5.062.000, Symantec Antivirus Corporate Edition. I've updated all software from both Zonealarm, Symantec to the latest releases. Windows XP Home edition has all latest patches from Windows Update. What can I do to stop the balloon popup? Thanks for any helpful direction. Fusey |
