Default MSN Messenger 6.1 problem (processes)

Xref: kermit microsoft.public.windowsxp.messenger:64116

I am having a problem with MSN Messenger 6.1, it seems me
& my friends are having an issue when we exit messenger
from the systray then later try to open the program again
we cannot. I notice when I have this problem I bring up
Task Manager and look under processes and find that
msnmsgr.exe is still in there sometimes 2 or 3 of them,
so I highlight them and end those processes and them I am
able to bring MSN Messenger up again, so is there a fix
when you exit Messenger from the systray by right
clicking on it and hitting exit to make those processes
left behind in task manager go away also?

Thanks
Carmine
