Default Can i use a different port

ok we've now started locking down the out bound ports on
the firewall and i cant use messenger anymore..

Can i make messenger use a "normal" outbound port (i.e.
80) just like i can make ICQ do ?

thanks in advance

Greetings Lee,

If Messenger can't connect on port 1863 (it's default port), then it automatically tries 80.
Obviously whoever is "locking down" the ports, has also taken care of Messenger totally.
