update again?
For Windows 7 I had:
dinsdag 10 februari 2015 - 9 MS security updates (reboot) and next day again: woensdag 11 februari 2015 - 1 MS security update (reboot) I suppose they forgot that one yesterday? Same story for Vista: woensdag 11 februari 2015 - 6 MS security updates (reboot) and next day: donderdag 12 februari 2015 - 1 MS security update (reboot) -- |\ /| | \/ |@rk \../ \/os |

The other possibility, is your lone update is a virus definitions file, and not a security patch as such. Paul |

In my case it showed up the next day (woensdag 11 februari 2015). The other possibility, is your lone update is a virus definitions file, and not a security patch as such. Mine was labeled Security update for Internet Explorer 11. I do have a notification - new today, donderdag - for an update to MSE definitions, but it's clearly a different animal. OT - I can't figure out why MSE updates automatically and also notifies me sometimes from inside Windows Update. ****es me off, truth to tell. -- Gene E. Bloch (Stumbling Bloch) |

IE is so integrated into the OS that it can't hurt. None of my 5 computers stay on all the time so there is no problem. I view the updates and decide what to install. Me too. If I don't do the reboot after the updates tell me to, I may come back to the computer and have a warning that it will reboot in xx minutes. I didn't write that I didn't reboot after the Explorer update. There's no way around it: user is forced to reboot. -- |\ /| | \/ |@rk \../ \/os |
