Default program to show first screen of movie

I have win 7 home premium sp1
When I look in folders at movies, I have the setting of Extra Large Icons
but I need even larger icons because of old age.
Does anyone know of a preferrably free way to make the icons larger?
Thank you for any help
John

I know in Windows 8 you can hold the Control key down and use the scroll
wheel to change icons of jpegs larger or smaller! And sure enough,
it works in videos too. Win 8 at least. But Cntl+ Scroll is kinda
universal.

The problem for the OP is that that technique won't scroll bigger than
Extra Large Icons (at least in my Explorer).

That's a Windows standard, and not just in Windows 8; it goes back
*many* versions. It works in many places, in applications, as well as
in Windows itself. And it even works in many non-Microsoft
applications--WordPerfect, for example.

Good advice but I am using the largest icon. Is there a program that works
in Win 7 that makes the icons even larger?

Hi John,

I did a Google search for screen magnifier windows 7

A brief description of the first seven items that I saw from the above
search can be seen at http://tinypic.com/r/35n3qt2/8

There appears to be a magnifier available within Windows 7 but I did
download Virtual Magnifying Glass 3.6, which worked very well. I did
not try the magnifier supplied with Windows However, you should
peruse some of the articles listed to choose a method that works for
you.

Each of the seven items can be accessed from the following TINYURLs
which are listed in the same order as the TINYPIC list.
