Drives are not accessible. Incorrect function.
I tried the cdgone.zip weeks ago, didn't correct
-----Original Message----- Hi, It would help if you told uswhat you already tried so that we don't tell you to repeat it. First, see if this helps: http://aumha.org/win5/a/xpcd.htm, under section 8 - Problems - there is a link to a patch that often resolves this problem with CD drives. -- Best of Luck, Rick Rogers aka "Nutcase" MS-MVP - Win9x Windows isn't rocket science! I receive the following message when attempting to access any of my drives, 'd:\ is not accessible - incorrect function' This will occur on any drive except 'c'. My 'd' drive is a cd-rom, 'e' drive is a dvd player and 'f' drive is a usb connection for a camcorder. I have read many of the posts regarding this error but no real solution. Has anyone resolved this problem? . |

Drives are not accessible. Incorrect function.
I browsed through the registry to see the changes from
the cdgone.reg fix. Should I see any additions to the registry at the locations defined in cdgone.reg? I didn't find any. -----Original Message----- If you have installed an earlier version of Roxio Easy CD Creator, uninstall it and apply this fix: www.aumha.org/downloads/cdgone.zip -- Ramesh - Microsoft MVP http://www.mvps.org/sramesh2k Microsoft Most Valuable Professional Program http://mvp.support.microsoft.com ~ Please reply to newsgroup ~ "Uncle Buck" wrote in message ... Drives are not accessible. Incorrect function.
The "-" prefix actually removes the specified keys in registry. It does not
add any. -- Ramesh - Microsoft MVP http://www.mvps.org/sramesh2k Microsoft Most Valuable Professional Program http://mvp.support.microsoft.com ~ Please reply to newsgroup ~ "Uncle Buck" wrote in message ...
