Default lost all internet access but had connection

I have had this problem twice now. The first time I still
had internet connection and used the steps as you
recommended and was able to access msn messenger and
hotmail again. Last night while using msn messenger iI
lost all internet connection, including on the computer
set up to MS wireless broadband network. I reset the base
station and got internet connection on the base station
computer again. Then I had to repeat all the steps again
to get access to messenger and hotmail again. I am also
getting messages about Active X controls. I am wondering
if this has something to do with my wireless broadband
connection as when I originally tried to install it I had
a lot of difficulty and had to do it with a
support/research member of MS. We had to by-pass firewall
connected to ISP (I think this was the problem). I have
had this problem twice now within the last 8 days and am
concerned as both computers lost connection (showed I was
connected, but kept getting message "page cannot be
displayed" - this also was reeived when I tried to change
password in net passport). Went through several processes
including, rebooting several times, used Windows system
restore, broadband network utility - enable/disable
firewall, pc doctor scans, etc.) I am extemeley
frustrated and annoyed at this point and don't understand
why this keeps happening! I hope you can
help...please!!! In the event that this happens again and
I cannot access above hotmail address, please try
alternate e-mail .

Thank you in advance for your cooperation and
consideration.
