Default Copying files across network causes XP to lock up

When I try to copy files across my wireless network, the
copy dialog box appears then nothing happens. The dialog
will just sit there doing nothing until I pull out my
wireless card. When I do this the system returns to
functionality. The two systems involved are XP Home & XP
Professional.

On the Professional system I am able to download files
still. but if i try to do the same thing on the home box
then i get lock up again...

Wierd. Very Wierd. But if I Use the 10/100 on the Home
system it works fine....

Since the networking via the regular NIC works, then XP and networking
is ok. Sounds like a flaw with the wireless network card or driver
software for that card? Have you checked on the manufacturer's web site
for guidance?

Thanks Rob for the suggestion, but I feel it could be
something more sinister, as this happened once before at
work on the normal LAN connection. Strange v.strange.

Am going to download everything 2moro @ work and then
reinstall a clean system and have another go to see if
things improve...
