Set all folders

How can I set every file in all folders to the (details) slection in
Windows XP? I did a clean install and have to reset each folder that has
Icons so now I have a mix of detail and Icons.
Controle Panel, Folder Optins does not have a setting for all folders.

Thanks for any help, this drives me nuts.
