Default Processor and/or Motherboard upgrade

I have XP retail Home and just replaced an Intel D815/P-III with an
MSI 6550/P4 combination. No problems or issues were noted during the
repair install, as Jupiter indicated.

I need to replace the motherboard/processor in a PC
running XP Home(OEM). I need to know what types of XP
problems I may run into when I do this. Specifically,
will XP still work or will there be any problems with XP
becoming inactivated or unregistered or ?. FYI I am
upgrading a MB/CPU w/500mhz Celeron to a MB/CPU w/1.7 ghz
celeron.

Would appreciate any info.
