Win XPSP2 Hangup
After running a repair on Win XPSP2 a hangup occurs in the boot process at
the window that says "Windows is starting up". It hangs at this point for 1:30 minutes before proceeding and after another 30 sec the system tray icons appear. Reboot completes after this and all is well. Any help w/b appreciated. -- Lavert Y Bryant Powder Springs GA |

Any help w/b appreciated. -- Lavert Y Bryant Powder Springs GA It sounds like something is set to start up with Windows and is failing and/or timing out. It could be a legitimate program, Windows service, or something else. There is no way of knowing from the information you've provided. Why did you need to do a repair? What kind of repair did you do?
