Default Need XP help drastically

-----Original Message-----
I am visiting a friend who wants to put a single cyber=20
caf=E9 station in her small store. She got a new PC and XP=20
Professional and since she has a very little computer=20
knowledge I offered to help. A problem arose when I was=20
going through one of the last steps having to do with the=20
static IP address. I 'thought' I backed out of the setup=20
process properly but it had gone and put it self into=20

auto=20
startup.

Now the cyber software takes over every time the PC is=20
turned on like it should to prevent a user from getting=20
into the system but it isn't setup for use. I tried the=20
different things even setting the clock speed to slow=20
giving me time to delete the icon from Startup on the=20
programs memory but no help.

My last option will be to reinstall XP and hope it wipes=20
out every thing but am a bit worried that will it will be=20
necessary to reactivate XP? Is this going to work and be=20

a=20
problem? Or what else can I do to delete this cyber=20
station software so the computer is not locking her out=20

of=20
using the computer for other things?

Please help........

Try re-booting into the advanced options menu by pressing=20

quickly the correct key, either the F8, Ctrl, or delete=20
keys should work. Then select either safe mode or use=20
the "last known good configuration" options.
