Default Sharing a FAX/Modem

Is there any way to share out a FAX/Modem device with
Windows XP Pro so other computers on a network can send a
FAX job through the one computer with the FAX/Modem?

I know this was possible using WinFax Pro under Windows
98. Just wondering if the Windows software itself can
somehow handle this, or do I need to use another program
like WinFax Pro.

Thanks

Windows XP Fax does not support sharing. Windows 2003 Server does, if you
happen to have an extra grand to spend.

I believe that the current version of WinFax Pro will do this under
XP, but you need to buy a copy of the program for every system that
will be sending faxes, as well as for the system with the faxmodem.
This has never struck me as being remotely reasonable, let alone
cost-effective. There are a number of more cost-effective solutions to
the problem - do a Google search on "Network Fax Software".
