Hi,

I'm about to build myself a brand new computer, and I'm wondering if there is
any major complication with that kind of processor that I should be aware of
before hand

I will install XP Pro in it

--
Thank you in Advance

Merci a l'Avance

Martin

I am running an FX53 under XP-Pro with no problems. Getting a high end
video card at retail price is a problem.

What would benefit you most would be to go out and buy a PC magazines which
has reviews / comparisons of top end PC systems.

This will give you an understanding of the benefits of certain configuration
considerations and also the actual benchmark results of CPUs and versions of
Win XP.

AMD's Athlon 64 is a great processor, the rest is your choice for
price/performance and matching up the other components.
