msconfig question
Hi, I recently looked at my System Configuration Utility (msconfig)/Startup, and found that 2 of the areas under "Startup Item" an "Command" were blank. The location is HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run , but again, there is no name or command for the startup item. What are these? Can I disable? Should I delete? Thanks! Greg |

msconfig question
What likely happened is that a program was uninstalled, and the
uninstallation process did not completely remove the program's startup entry in the registry. The blank entry is not harming your computer in any way or affecting its performance. If you're feeling brave and confident, you can go into the registry and delete that subkey. -- Ted Zieglar "You can do it if you try." "Greg" wrote in message news:TKjjf.31$Rn2.4@trnddc09...
