Default .Net Framework 1.1-?

Do I really need the two NET.FRAMEWORKS 1.0 and the
update1.1 ASP. I don't know what they do,don't think I
ever used them. Tried to read about them but was still
confused on what purpose they serve. Before I found out
version 1.1 had installed a user account on my system,I
had deleted it,thinking it was some kind of computer hi-
jack. Our system is only used for net surfing, some
gameing, music and other basic functions.Thank you in
advance.

Hi,

That is used primarily for programming support. Basically, if you don't =
know if you need it, you don't need it.

You would need the .NET framework (1.0 or 1.1) if you use any .NET based
application in future. So, I would suggest to keep them. They have now
become an OS component.

As far as thr ASP.NET account goes, yes, you can delete it.
