absolutely useless
Today I got some message balloon at the task bar.
I was just going to read it (quite some text) and wham... before I had a chance in hell to read a word the balloon was gone! Why not let the user decide when he's done reading? Absolutely useless this kind of non-interactivity... -- |\ /| | \/ |@rk \../ \/os |

Here is one of my favorite Windows messages, apparently it means the application failed successfully https://www.dropbox.com/s/10tg0hncvl...ccess.jpg?dl=0 |

I'm not good at identifying all the whizzy stuff in the interface, but have a look at this... http://www.thewindowsclub.com/balloon-tip-time-changer "You can also set the time, for the balloon tips or Windows notifications to stay open via the Control Panel. To do so, open Ease of Access\ Ease of Access Center\ Make it easier to focus on tasks. What I would like is to display the balloons (and other types of messages) indefinitely, and click them away myself when i'm done. Is this supported by the utility? My vision isn't getting any better these days. Besides that, I live alone and often jumping around doing all sorts of things in the house while the computer is running and doing its own thing. And I don't want to mis what's going on behind my back... -- |\ /| | \/ |@rk \../ \/os |
