Default SP2 restarts when use fulscreen on any Media Player

I have Windoxs Xp, i just recently installed SP2 from a CD
My friend gave me that he got PC world Magazine. After the
complete installation of SP2, eveytime i play a movie and
try to put it on full screen mode my computer restarts and
the same thing happens when i change my desktop display
settings to a different size.
If you Know any way i can fix this without uninstalling SP2
or know what is acusing this please reply to this post.

Thanks

-If ya have a AMD processor the SP2 restarts idd. It's a bug from microsoft.
