How about adding this (in the registry, for the key shown):
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Curre ntVersion\Policies\Explorer] "ClearRecentDocsOnExit"=dword:00000001 That's what I have to clear it after rebooting. NJITGS wrote: Thank you John. The easiest way is to install and use Ccleaner:
http://www.ccleaner.com/ Tip: When you install it, do not also install any options for toolbars, etc. (That is, uncheck any boxes so this doesn't occur.)
