Apparently, you don't read the fixes included in the FZ updates. After
all, that's why you think XP is a good OS.


The extent to which you should be "fixated" on
patches, depends on the development model.

As well a the risk involved in the use of the app. I don't care so much
about patches to apps that primarily involve off-line uses. However, FZ
is ONLY used for on-line connections to servers and file transfers, and
as such is a prime target for hacking exploits. The fixes that I read
address this (and occasional expanded capability, which is less
important to me). You can ignore that risk if you wish, and I'll
continue to accept the updates.
