cannot access internet through IE and ...
Dear Sir/Madam,
I have problems after restore my computer to manufactory status, they are as followings: 1. I can ping web sites from command prompt, but I can't go to any website through IE. 2. I can't activate my windows xp because it said me cannot access Internet. 3. I can't login MSN also. I think all the problems is about accessing Internet. Can anyone figure out what are my problems ? (I haven't set any firewall rules to block accessing Internet) I am using Windows XP Professional. Thanks all help. Regards, William Chan |

Regards, William Chan Since you can ping, but not connect, try these: NETSH Click Start, Run, type: netsh winsock reset Press Enter key Restart the system You can also try this software download from a working machine: LSP-Fix http://www.cexx.org/lspfix.htm -- Joe =o) |
