Logan, Jack, or whatever you decide to post under,

Why do you persist with your idiotic answers? Re-installing is not =
required to fix most problems that are posted here. Nor is taking the =
computer to a shop. Instead of investing your time making yourself =
look like an idiot, why not use the time to actually help someone?

Hi there,

Try the resolutions in this recently released MS article:
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?kbid=822798

Save and then Open the "DX9 Logo Error" patch on Line 189
for WinXP at: http://www.kellys-korner-xp.com/xp_tweaks.htm
