Default DHCP DAD and Win XP SP2

Hi all,

I would like to know how DHCP DAD is supposed to work in a
network where the clients have SP2 installed.
Hope you can help since Microsoft was unable to.

Thanks a lot,
Andrea

Google: dhcp "duplicate address". Many references.

I know about DAD, what I would like to know is how DHCP DAD
will be still able to work in large wireless networks since
the SP2 by DEFAULT disables incoming ICMP requests.
I cannot go and enable ICMP on all the hundred of clients
everyday.

Thanks,
Andrea

Call Microsoft. There is a new SP2-specific help line.
