Xp logs out

For some reason, if I leave my computer alone for more than an hour,
when I get back it asks for me to chose between my log on and admin
log on.

I just want the computer to default to admin and not ask for a
password.

Try the Power Options control panel. There, you can look
at setting to stop the thing from locking the screen.

Under Power Scheme, are standby and hibernate options,
associated with the currently selected Power Schemes.
I have mine set to "Always On", which wastes a bit
of electricity. I have Standby and Hibernate set to "Never".
In fact, all four down there are "Never".

Under Advanced, is a "Prompt for password when
computer resumes from standby". While mine is
ticked, I've never been prompted. I think that's
because I hibernate the computer, rather than
select standby when I'm done.

The "control userpasswords2" one, was the one I was
going to suggest, until I had a look, and didn't see
what I was looking for in there.

In the Display control panel, under Screen Saver, I have
mine turned off. So the properties associated with
my Screen Saver don't matter to me. You might take
a look in there as well, as that's probably another
opportunity to annoy you ("On Resume, password protect").
