Default My Network Places problemn ! Kelly ? All MVPs ? PLZ !!!!!!!!!! :-((((

Hi all,

asking again same question.
Win XP SP1a

When I create a new shortcut to a shared folder in "My Network Places" WITHOUT opening it right after creation it gets in correct place, that is under the header for my PC ( view sorted by computer name) :

Now, as soon as I open it first time, it migrates to "Inconnu" ( that is "Unknown in english) ! That only happens with my folders. All others remain correctly sorted ! It drives me mad !

Here is view after just opening it :

Does someone have an idea ??????????

Had NAV2004, and phenomenon had appeared after it : restored disk image done before : OK.
Installed trial version of Kaspersky anti-virus : booooooommmmm : same problem. Of course "it functions" but not normally, and that annoys me, because I try very hard to keep my PC clean, ordered and so on.
Any help would be so much appreciated !

Very interesting !
My message is not plain text : because the image makes it so much clearer.
And they do not contain viruses, and theys are small ( as small as possible
to allow reading). And I have earlier posted in text-only mode, without
result, so thought adding screen execrpts would perhaps help to understand
the question and problem.

Woudl be much more help if you did think about an answer, rather than
criticize the question. Critcis is easy, art may not !
Question posed here because haven't been able to find doing websearches.
Of course if everybody reacts as "contributively" as you .....

Let's see. You inappropriately post binaries to a text group (oh, and
thanks, I really wanted your crappy pics on my hard drive) then
berated somebody for pointing out to you your problem. There were
other ways you could have "painted" out your problem, but you chose to
break rules and do it your way.

You have a great attitude, and after the above rant, I'm sure many
people will be dying to help you sort it out.

But obviously I'm not one of them.
