I use a older P2 233 'winXP pro. How much ram can I
install? Also when the PC boots up it cycles the memory
test 3 or 4 times. Is that normal?
Thank you,
Daniel Cairns

Daniel;
The question you really need to ask is how much and what kind of RAM
will your motherboard support?
Check your motherboard/computer manual or contact the manufacturer for
details of memory.

With a P2 233 the amount of RAM that you can install will be limited
by the motherboard design. Check the documentation for it.

Windows XP can handle up to 4 gb of RAM but no system with a 233 mhz
Pentium II CPU is going to be able to come anywhere close to allowing
that amount.

Good luck
