Question about a clean install of XP Home
After backing up my files and folders and downloaded programmes I want to
wipe my disc clean because various keys must be corrupted, judging by my PC's behaviour lately. (All checks done for Malware/Viruses etc.) I have the PC manufacturer's OEM XP Home SP1 CDROM only. Dare I do this or do I need another disc for drivers etc.??? -- Peter in Toronto, Canada. Windows XP Home SP1 Pentium 4 @ 3.00ghz, 160gb HD, 1.00gb DDR. Rogers Hi-Speed Extreme Internet on Cable. |

Question about a clean install of XP Home
It depends on how the manufacturer set up the Restore CD.
Check your manual and/or contact the manufacturer since they all do it differently. -- Jupiter Jones [MVP] http://www3.telus.net/dandemar/ "Peter" r2d2 at cesmail dot net wrote in message ...
