Default CD-Rom Error

Have a cd im trying to run a program from but keep getting the following error:
'Only part of a ReadProcessMemory or WriteProcessMemory request was
completed'. I have tried copying the program to my desktop and using a
different computer but got the same thing. Does anyone no what this means
and how to get around it. Thanks ahead of time.

Hi,

If the same thing happens on two PC's, then the problem is the disk. Most
programs have to be installed to a system. If you are trying to run a
program from a folder that you copied to CD (perhaps from a different
machine where it was actually installed?), then it probably won't work. Most
programs need to write to the program folder while running.

What im trying to run from the cd is an executable to install the program
that I copied from another pc, not the program itself

Hi,

Then it's a corrupt file burn. You would need to create a new one or get a
fresh install file.
