CD-Rom Error
Hi,
If the same thing happens on two PC's, then the problem is the disk. Most programs have to be installed to a system. If you are trying to run a program from a folder that you copied to CD (perhaps from a different machine where it was actually installed?), then it probably won't work. Most programs need to write to the program folder while running. -- Best of Luck, Rick Rogers, aka "Nutcase" - Microsoft MVP http://mvp.support.microsoft.com/ Associate Expert - WindowsXP Expert Zone www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/expertzone Windows help - www.rickrogers.org "nbuwalda" wrote in message ... What im trying to run from the cd is an executable to install the program
that I copied from another pc, not the program itself "Rick "Nutcase" Rogers" wrote: Hi, If the same thing happens on two PC's, then the problem is the disk. CD-Rom Error
Hi,
Then it's a corrupt file burn. You would need to create a new one or get a fresh install file. -- Best of Luck, Rick Rogers, aka "Nutcase" - Microsoft MVP http://mvp.support.microsoft.com/ Associate Expert - WindowsXP Expert Zone www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/expertzone Windows help - www.rickrogers.org "nbuwalda" wrote in message ...
