Is there a way to password protect any applications or games on win XPHome to keep others from using them while you are away? Ron |

If you are the only user that is also administrator on the computer you can
configure NTFS permissions on any folder to prevent other users from gaining access assuming you are using the NTFS file system as shown in the drive properties in Windows Explorer. See the link below on how to configure NTFS permissions in XP. You can restrict other users that are administrators but they would have the ability to undo the restrictions if they knew how to. If a user has no permissions to a folder via individual or group permissions and the files in it then he can not access it's contents or run an application in the folder.
