Default i can't find my windows xp anymore

i have brought my computer just over a year ago and at first it windows xp
let me write a normal letter and now it has disapered i cant find it any
where. i didnt get a cd to install but someone said that it should be already
be on here. i get all the other windows things just not word pad,,,, please
help

Default i can't find my windows xp anymore

The Wordpad.exe file is located in C:\Program Files\Windows NT\Accessories
Is it there and if you double click on this file will Wordpad open.
