hi , can u tell me why, when i send a email it does not stay in out box , and
if i get one , it does the same, i am running w xp home edition sp2 ,l and i
am using oe 6 , thanks ray

Once the message is sent it will not be in the Outbox anymore, but a copy
will be in Sent Items.

I don't know what you mean by when you receive one.

The out box is where a message is when it's ready to be sent, but not yet
sent. Once it's sent it moves to the Sent items folder.

Receieved mail *never* goes to the out box. Please clarify what you mean.
