"unread email messages"
I did delete them. And I emptied the trash folder. The
message is still there. Wondering if anyone else has ever seen something like this. -----Original Message----- Delete them. -----Original Message----- I just set up my new pc and after I logged out of my account, I saw a message next to my name icon that read I had 2 unread email messages. I went back into my outlook account and opened the messages, then logged back out and the message next to my icon remained there. I've rebooted, etc, but the message still remains. Does anyone have an idea how I get rid of it? Thanks in advance. . . |

"unread email messages"
Messenger puts the count there. It puts it there for hotmail and outlook =
express, not Outlook. These sound like your two welcome messages in OE. If you upgrade Messenger the feature is removed from Windows. So nothing = exists to change the account. Get the Hotmail Addin for messenger to put = the feature back. --=20 ---------------------------------------------------------- http://www.g2mil.com/Dec2003.htm "Bill" wrote in message = ...
