Default Printer Port Malfunction

After replacing corrupt memory card, HP PSC 2110 stopped working.
Have uninstalled/reinstalled printer, LPT1, USB root hubs.
Print spooler is started and working. Driver is updated.
Reassigned IRQ 7 to ECP printer port (LPT1)
Tested the printer on another computer and it works fine.
The scanner function on the current computer works fine.
All indications in device manager are good. Everything else on the computer
is working normally.

Can you help?

Is the printer connected to USB or LPT? The scanner referenced below is the
printer correct?

So at this point the scanner is working, it's just the printer that is
failing? What Port is the printer assigned? I think the PSC requires a
DOT4 port but I may not be correct. Maybe someone else with the device can
confirm. Anyway if there are multiple ports try selecting another or get
the port list then connect the device to another USB port and see a new one
gets created. The printer should be assigned to the new port.
