lite-on external drives
I own a lite-on sohw 832s dvd+r/+rw burner and it is nolonger wanting to
recognize any type of disc have unistalled and reinstalled it and updated the firmware but to noavail. help please

I've had several Lite-On burners crap out on me, so it's possible it might be failing. But, I've found cdfreaks.com to be a great resource for asking about burners and such, so you might want to point your browser to their forums.
