Folder Options
There are several ways to display a file folder. One simply displays the
icons or the list of files. Another shows a split screen, with the icons or file list on the right and the folder tree on the left. Right now, my wife's computer shows all using the files only display. How do I switch to the split screen format? -- PT |

How do I switch to the split screen format? Go to Control Panel and double click on Folder Options. On the General page, make sure "Show common tasks in folders" is selected. Click OK. That shows Common Tasks on the left. Surely the answer is in Windows Explorer to select, View, Explorer Bar, Folders. You can switch views easily by clicking on the Folders icon on the Toolbar if Standard Buttons has been selected (View, Toolbar, Standard Buttons). -- Regards.
