Default Macromedia update KB923789

Apologies if this an incorrect NG but I haven't been able to locate one for
this subject on the NG server I use.

I have a Client who has a persistent problem with KB923789 (Adobe Macromedia
Flash Player) to install. I have over installed a later version but the
fault persists.

Is this worth pursuing (what will happen if not) or is it just an
inconvenience? Any ideas please?

Thanks.
