IE7 crashes! Unknown reason!

There was some type of entry in the ActiveX Components section that was
listed as Unknown with a strange name, a string of characters with no
recognizable reading. I removed that entry, unfortunately it did not help
with my problem.
To which, I am going to start leaning towards SP3 instead of IE7 as the root
cause. For starters, I can no longer install most software without the
install crashing, I can no longer read from my camera, I had to reset my
monitor to use the USB ports that are built in and a miraid of other issues.
MS Paint cannot recognize any other format other than BMP!?

We are very well aware that visiting msn.com WILL cause IE7 to freeze-
up even after going to another website. You have to reboot. So far,
the only workaround that works for me is to place www.msn.com in the
"Restricted sites" zone: toolsInternet
OptionsSecurityRestricted sitesSitesand the enter www.msn.com
intov the box by clickingAdd. This should do it.
