Default remove program

I have a program on my computer that I've tried to remove in the Add/Remove
programs function only to be told that the file is in use. I don't even
know what it is. I think it was some sort of background or screensaver
although I 'm really not sure. Any suggestions? Its not causing any type
of problem, I just don't know why I can't remove it.

What is the name of the program, as listed in Add or Remove Programs?

Have you tried restarting and then going to Add or Remove Programs to uninstall it,
before doing anything else?

Default remove program

You need to disable the program first.. Go to; Start\Run\ type; msconfig and
click OK\and on the Startup tab, uncheck the application\Apply and Accept.
Next right click on the Task Bar and select Task Manager \ Processes tab and
search for the program.exe process, (according to what your read under
Command in msconfig) right click on the program.exe process and select End
Process, and then remove it from Add/Remove programs. If that doesn't
remove it, run your spyware program to see if it installed any bug.
