Microsoft includes a copy of Internet Explorer with Windows. If you
want to use Firefox, you'll have to install that yourself.

That's because XPI files are typically addon file for Mozilla based programs
such as FireFox, Thunderbird, or Seamonkey. If you want to use that add on,
then you'll have to use the appropriate program.
