Default What Now - Recovery Console Change 0 to 1

WXP SP3 Desktop
This is such a good Tip I'd like to make the change.
It Reads:
"I had this same problem and it's not uncommon that RC doesn't
recognize the password or respond properly. I disabled the ability for
RC to ask for a password by finding this tip:

1. Click on the Start button.
2. Click on the Run option
3. Type regedit.exe in the open field and press the OK button.
4. Navigate to the
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\WindowsNT\Cu rrentVersion\Setup\RecoveryConsole
5. Change the value of SecurityLevel value to 1
6. Close regedit
7. Reboot your computer.

Now the Recovery Console will no longer ask for a password. End

Well, thinking I'd just look to see if i could make the change. I rt
clicked under Data on 0x000000 (0) but there were a few choices. I picked on
one with the intention to just look to see if I could change the (0) to a
(1).
I didn't get a chance to do any changing. Zip!!! Zap!!!

I now have on the Left side:
Setup
Recovery Console
and a new entry: New Key #1 then: (Default) REG_SZ (value not set)

I'm presuming I can merely Delete the New Key #1 entry. If so great
but ...
pls advise how I change that (0) to (1).
When I rt click the 0x00000 (0) I have these choices:

Key
String Value
Binary Value
DWord Value
Multi String Value
Expandable String Value

Thx ...

Do not rt. click on "0x00000" instead you need to rt. click on the words to
the left that says
securitylevel and select modify. This is where you change the value to 1.

1. Just delete the New Key #1

2. The right click on a blank space brings up the create new Key or value
type option, you need to right click\Modify (or double click) on the value
to edit it's data.

Excellent. Thx Guys. It's so easy once u find out how to do it in spite
of mousing with a sweaty trembling hand. I waited up for someone to reply
thinking I just may not be able to boot up in the morning due to that New Key
I had made. Sure it seems ridiculous to those that know and me too now!
Just great. Thank u both so much.
