Default Taskbar bigger

I just want the task bigger, NOT stretched to double wide
I set start panel to large icons, no change to taskbar tho
I have active title bar set to 32 in appearance and caption buttons set to 32
just want all items in taskbar bigger
running 1280 x 1024 on monitor, don't really want to change that
but i spose if i do get it bigger, icons will get fuzzy

any ideas would be great....even free 3rd party app would be OK
thx

You can tweak size of things - copy, icons - via Display Properties,
Appearance, Advanced but the changes are global, not just on the taskbar.

The easiest way to enlarge everything is to lower the monitor resolution.
