Default Vista (and 7), NETLOGON and UAC prompts

Hello,

Is there any way to sign the NETLOGON script or something to make it
stop triggering UAC prompts on Windows Vista and Windows 7 computers?

I use NETLOGON to run regedit (to copy a part of the registry to a
text file), which triggers an UAC prompt (which is also minimized on
Windows 7), so it never gets executed on those clients.

Any way to fix this?

Thanks.

LP,
Jure

Crap I just realized I accidentially posted this to the wrong
newsgroup.

Feel free to ignore.

Yes, you did send to the wrong newsgroup & you will get 'PA Bear' asking you
which version of IE you have installed for no apparent reason

--------------------

To turn off UAC

Go into control panel, user accounts, turn user account control on & off.

You will need to reboot for the changes to take effect

However, if using Business Vista... then gpedit.msc then run a logon script
(COMPUTER CONFIGURATION | WINDOWS SETTINGS | SCRIPTS (Startup/Shutdown))
then double-click STARTUP in the right pane...
