Default no video on Windows Media Player

I have Windows media Player 11. When I put in a dvd i get no video but only
sound. My computer used to ask me what I wanted to use to play the dvd when
I put it in than started playing automatically. But now it only opens a
screen that tells me what files are on the disk and I have to open media
player separately. I thought reinstalling would help but no luck. HELP!!

You must install DVD decoding software in order for XP to play DVD's. See
