thanks to you all for your help & I did get it completely removed &
reinstalled the latest & all seems fine, but & that is, i should be able
to use ad-watch live for processes on the free version. so i read & it
says to turn on by clicking on the icon - well, for me, it doesn't turn
on - anyone know how ? oh & i tried to email in the past, & never got a
responses.

To remove items in Add/Remove after program has been deleted or
removed:
Start--Run--Regedit--OK
HKEY_LOCAL-MACH_Software\Microsoft\Windows\currentversion\uni nstall
highlite and delete.

i tried to reinstall ad aware, did so, partially, as it only allowed me
to do so much. so i went to explorer & deleted everything i could find
ad aware & lavasoft, but in add/remove, its still there, so no
problem as i'll simply remove it. only i can't; when i click on it,
there is no "remove" for me to click on - any ideas ?

many, many thanks
