Default FAO - Jonathan Kay (Whiteboard Problem)

Jonathan Kay : If you read this I was just wandering if you had not replied
to my earlier post as you don't know the problem, or perhaps you are
awaiting somebody else coming back to you?

Hope I'm not being rude by asking you direct but you seem to answer
everybody else bar me

Regards
Dave

When trying to use Whiteboard we get intermittent results. I have a dual
monitor display, we have had it working with both monitors and with just
one.

Most of the time when either I accept the invitation or vice versa the

other
PC just crashes, requiring an hard re-boot.

All XP updates have been installed.

Here is the error at my end.

---------------------------------------------------------------------
The programs are not compatible.

The person you are trying to contact may not be running a compatible
program. Check that the person you are trying to contact is running a
compatible program, and then try again later.

Status code 488 has been returned by the SIP Stack.

Greetings Dave,

I'm not really sure what's going on here -- in case you don't know, the Whiteboard is
actually a component from Netmeeting. If you and your contact start Netmeeting (click Start,
then Run, enter "conf" and click OK) then have one of you call the other[click the Call menu
in Netmeeting then choose New Call, enter your contacts' IP (they can find their IP at
http://www.whatismyip.com) and click Call (don't choose Data or Secure)]. Once you've
established a Netmeeting connection, choose the Whiteboard icon in the Netmeeting window.
I'd be interested in hearing your results (this will narrow it down if it's a
Netmeeting/Whiteboard problem or something wrong with the SIP support).

I'm curious however, what's "Windows CP"?
