Default I don't know if this is correct

Hello, I can explain my situation but I don't know if my job idea of being a
Linux dealer is correct. In these days people are not buying Windows 8.1
software simply because we don't have the right. I'm thinking to become a
Linux businessman to do something productive and earn real sales life. But
I'm not sure about my future and I'm afraid because we are millions of
experts in new technologies market. And we have citizens who blame America
TV shows for making up our poverty. I don't know what to do. I guess I'll
wait for tomorrow to see what happens.

This is complete and utter false statement. You don't need "rights" to
buy Windows 8.1; You need hard cash to do that.

Very good idea before you throw away your hard-earned savings into a
project you know nothing about.

So the answer to your subject mater is NO it is not correct.

There might be merit in doing something with Linux but if, by "Linux
dealer", you mean selling it that will be a passport to nowhere. All
that anyone needs is an internet conncetion and a cd/DVD/USB key and
they can get all the good versions for nothing.

The business opportunity is unlikely to be in helping home users
because a decent distribution does not tend to go too badly wrong and
if you have a problem there are loads of newsgroups and websites where
a solution can be found. There might be something in non-tech savvy
home users I suppose.

The smart move if you decide to advance this is probably going to be
in helping businesses who want to migrate their data, mail and web
servers to open source...although a lot of businesses are doing most
of that sort of thing in the Cloud these days so I am not sure that it
would be a great long term proposition.

You can sell Linux CDs, to users who are on dialup. The usual
fee is around $5. Since it takes time to burn a CD, it's actually
a lot of work, and doesn't pay all that well.

The percentage of users who might need such a service, is likely
to be quite small.

Years ago, I purchased a box of CDs from FreeBSD Mall, to
be installed as FreeBSD. The CDs would have included source
(that's why there were so many CDs). That's the only time I
did a test purchase, to see if the model was at all interesting.
It would have taken forever to download them. I doubt I would
bother with such a model today.
