On windows 8, you can make shutdown shortcut. I've
looked for control panel or definitions shortcut but
I can't find way. Do you know if this is possible?

For control panel, just open it and drag from the
address bar to where you want it; alternatively, open
the file location and do the same.

The easiest way to shut down Window 8.1 is to right click
on the MS Icon in the lower right of the Desktop, Select:
"Shutdown and Sign out" and then Shutdown from the popup
menu.
The right click on the MS Icon also gives you complete
access to all of the computer functions

People, people, people...he doesn't WANT to shut down, neither does he want
a shortcut for that. He asked about shortcuts for Control Panel and
Definitions.

Assumption being if he wanted a shortcut to shutdown windows, he was
unhappy with jumping through hoops to shutdown from the Modern Interfaces.

Note that the OP said he can make such a shortcut, but he can't make
one for Control Panel and definitions (whatever that is).

His question was what dadiOH said it was. No assumption needed.
