Default Can't Find Disk Cleanup and Defrag anymore

When I go to start/all programs/accessories/tools

I no longer see the disk cleanup and defrag programs there.

Can someone help me find them and get them back there again?

I did install a program called SystemMechanic a few days ago which does
have the ability to do those two things, and maybe it removed the
original Microsoft ones, but that worries me a little.

Thanks,

Jeff

So I guess something has gone wrong with the "start" function at the
bottom left of the screen, because all I find when getting to "System
Tools" by that route is one item, "Internet Explorer (No Add-ons)".

Any Ideas Folks?

I would guess that your installation of System-Mechanic changed your menus.

You can still access those programs using your Start menu and the Run
function:

dfrg.msc
cleanmgr.exe

Then, your run menu will remember those programs so that you can access
them again with Run and the arrow on the R to get previous programs
you've run that way.

Or he could have forgotten how to access them. For example one can
launch Windows Explorer or File Explorer and he can see all his drives.
Now he can right-click on the C drive and select properties and the
tools tab is as shown in this pictu

Thanks, as you probably saw from my last post I had figured out how to
access them.

I was temporarily shocked, shocked, into thinking they were gone
forever. G

I confess. I took them. But then I felt remorse and put them back, I
guess in the wrong place. Please forgive me.

Jeff
